Products: How do I carry larger keys such as car keys?

All Orbitkey orders include a detachable D-Ring to allow for larger items such as car keys, accessories and key fobs.

Products: How many keys can I use?

The Orbitkey can cater up to 7 standard keys. For anything that doesn’t fit, the Orbitkey also comes with a detachable D-Ring to allow for extra or larger items.

Products: Will my keys fit the Orbitkey?

As long as the hole on your key is greater than 4.5mm and the length of the key from the hole to the end is shorter than 62mm, your key will fit the Orbitkey. Please note that the hole does not have to be a round shape. For any keys that doesn’t it on the Orbitkey, they can be attached to the D-ring that comes with every Orbitkey.

Products: Does version 2.0 accessories fit version 1.0 Orbitkey?

Yes, all version 2.0 accessories will still fit the version 1.0 Orbitkey.

Products: What are the dimensions of the Multi-tool?

The width is 17.5mm, length is 62.5mm and thickness is 2.0mm Designed to fit these bolt diameters: 1/4 inch - 6.35mm 5/16 inch - 8mm 3/8 inch - 9.5mm

Rewards: How can I choose the colour and style of my Orbitkey?

At the end of the campaign, we will send you a survey to confirm your colour choice, accessories and shipping details.

Shipping: When will I receive my Orbitkey?

We aim to have manufacturing completed in early November and have Orbitkey 2.0 sent to our fulfilment centres (Melbourne, LA, Hong Kong and UK) in different parts of the world. We hope ship out all your orders by mid December. We will keep all of our backers updated and be completely transparent with progress.

Shipping: What shipping method will you be using?

Australia: All Australian orders will be shipped directly from our office in Melbourne via Australia Post. United States: All orders will be sent from our fulfilment centre located in LA, orders will be shipped via USPS with tracking. Europe: All orders will be sent from our fulfilment centre located in UK, orders will be shipped via Royal Mail with duties and taxes paid. International: Orders outside US, Europe and Australia will be sent from our Hong Kong fulfilment centre. All orders will be shipped with tracking.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
